Meet Todd

Todd Creighton

Todd was born and raised here in Maine. Falmouth to be specific. Coming from a family of tradesmen, Todd was well educated in all aspects of home improvement at an early age. After building and remodeling Maine homes in the 90’s, he moved to Maryland to do the same. For twenty years he lived in Maryland, remodeling historic and modern homes.

Then Todd suffered spinal stenosis causing foot drop and a limp. He sold his Maryland business and moved back to Maine permanently to be close to family. During the year it took to get surgery and recover here in Maine, a new perspective of home accessibility was experienced. He couldn’t climb stairs or lift his foot over the tub to get in.

Fortunately, Todd had family help and recovered well. During that time he became focused on using his 25 years of remodeling skills to help folks change their homes for easy access and mobility. After acquiring his CAPS (Certified Aging In Place Specialist) he traveled to California to study under one of the country’s top Aging In Place Remodeling experts.

When you call on Portland Accessibility Remodelers, Todd will be the first person you meet to discuss options for your home. Your condition will be handled with empathy and caring, along with a smile.
